Welcome to my practice. I provide mindfulness-based and somatically-informed psychotherapy to help transform suffering into self-compassion.

I offer a unique, energetic space that allows you to raise your awareness and focus on aspects of living that matter to you. This is done by exploring the past and present to help reconstruct stories that your inner critic might tell you. The future is usually one of embodiment, authenticity and creativity.

INDIVIDUALS

I meet with a diverse range of people struggling with issues such as negative self-talk or an inner critic, chronic anxiety/ depression and the desire for intimacy in relationships. Generally, therapy work is creative, taps into the intuitive side of life and fosters sensitivity.

COUPLES

I have years of experience guiding individuals and couples into better relationships with themselves and others. Specializing in helping clients gain clarity at all stages of the relational cycle: pre-marital, transitions, divorce and explorations with sex, non-monogamy, or separation.

SUPERVISION

As a multi-year licensed clinician I can accept a handful of supervisees to journey with through your credentialing process. My modalities include psychodynamic/depth work, IFS, mindful self-compassion and somatic-based trainings.

ABout me

I hold a safe space for all clients’ intersecting identities. My style is warm, curious and attentive.

My approach is informed by how we view ourselves and the world through relationships and our history. I’m greatly influenced by Buddhist thought + research into mindful self-compassion and “parts work.”

I have a daily meditation practice that influences my approach to a great degree. In my former life, I worked in tech and have a respect for the energetic spaces created in that field.

Meeting with [Leam] is like a warm hug to the soul.
